We’ve had the opportunity to photograph and film multiple weddings at the Venue at Ballenger Bridge, including Shelly & Justin’s spring wedding, Alyssa & Dave’s fall celebration, and an engagement session during the height of summer. At the top of the property you’ll find the cabin where you and your bridal party can spend the weekend and get ready before the wedding. Above the cabin is a beautiful pond with the Blue Ridge Mountains as its backdrop. As a Greenville wedding photographer, it’s the picturesque spot for a couple to have a first look and read their vows (including their dog!). There is also a field which is a fun spot for the sunset during an engagement session. Just below the cabin is a smaller lower pond with a cute gazebo in the middle perfect for photos of the couple.

The main areas of the venue include the Gazebo, the lawns next to the barn and the river, and the Bridge. The stunning view of the river behind your officiant for your ceremony is the perfect nature-inspired backdrop. The covered bridge is an excellent spot for cocktail hour. The gazebo is just the place to hold the remainder of your reception. There is even a lit path behind to get away on a tandem bicycle.
