Jen’s the filmmaker who’ll make you feel like the star of your own movie—because that’s exactly how she sees you.
With a background in media arts, music, and a killer kickball game, she brings high energy, precision and an obsession with story to every wedding day.
When she’s not capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments, she’s spoiling her wiener dogs (Mylie and Luke Skywalker), nerding out over Star Wars, sipping selzer, and traveling the country with Kayla—who she also happened to propose to in a custom-edited film, naturally.

Meet Jen
Kayla’s the one who cries at every wedding—and we love her for it.
A music-theory-turned-media-business-grad with a background in artist management, she’s the detail-loving, list-making, heart-forward half of this duo. She’s usually the one wrangling timelines, capturing tear-jerking candids, and dancing between shots at your reception.
When she’s not behind the lens, she’s filling the calendar with social events, dancing with Jen in the kitchen, or cooking up delicious vegan and gluten-free goodness for their family—including their son, Juanfer, and the previously mentioned weenie dogs.

We’re partners in life and in business which means we know how to communicate, collaborate, and create like nobody’s business.
Jen brings the vision. Kayla brings the logistics. Together, we’re calm under pressure, synced up on wedding day chaos, and fully invested in helping you feel seen, supported and celebrated.
We show up with backup plans, steady hands, and walkie-talkie-style headsets (for real) so we can be in two places at once and make sure we never miss a thing. Whether you work with us or our trusted associate team, you’ll always get that signature Weaver Films and Photography experience: cinematic, authentic and oh-so-full of heart.
